PROXIMA LE NET is a fully embedded system. It is the ideal solution for mobile installations such as buses, train, planes etc. Its compact and resistant embedded architecture comes in a relatively small case (53x210x145mm) and with a low-consumption adapter (2VDC / 24VAC).
Maximum stability and reliance are guaranteed by a flash memory that hosts the software (Linux Embedded). Images and video are stored on a 2.5” internal hard drive.
At the heart of PROXIMA LE NET lies a new high-performance 500 Mhz MIPS microprocessor that can process data at a high speed with low consumption (less than 1 watt!).
The onboard DSP processor can process more than 4800 millions of instructions per second. Moreover, it can change in real time the compression routines of the connected cameras, at the maximum resolution available, with an excellent video quality, even when bandwidth allows only for few Kbytes.
PROXIMA RM DVMS is a 19" rack mountable (4RU) fully-featured 4 channel Digital Video Management System designed for industrial-level installations.
PROXIMA RM DVMS seamlessly combines varying recording modes with self-contained motion detection features, external alarm inputs and built in relay outputs. With up to 1000 GB (RAID optional) of internal storage coupled with an efficient cooling system, PROXIMA RM DVMS can be used to store months of audio/video material.
8 or 16 unsynchronised cameras with bidirectional audio can be connected to each PROXIMA RM. PROXIMA RM can be used as a standalone unit or as a server over any TCP/IP network with undiminished performance.
